Evolution Well Services provides electric hydraulic fracturing for oil and gas completions, powering its frac fleets with 100% natural gas, grid electricity, or a hybrid of the two rather than diesel. The company designs, manufactures, and operates its own electric frac platform, including pump trailers, dual-tub blenders, the Datavan control unit, switchgear, gas conditioning units, and turbine power packaged by its sister company, Dynamis Power Solutions. As a certified OEM packager for GE LM2500 turbines, it pairs the frac spread with in-house power generation and field gas conditioning so operators source completions, power, and gas handling from one provider. It reports conserving over 117 million gallons of diesel across more than 146,000 completed stages. Evolution is headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas and works across several U.S. shale basins.
